It's not very good at communicating that to its captors, though; all its attempts had ended in it being forcibly relocated back to its sparse cell, necessarily webbed in a Faraday cage to keep it from calling out on the radio waves.
It's been working at deconstructing that so it can get out and help the way it's designed to, but it's slow work--made slower by the fact it frequently must stop what it's doing as anyone comes near, hiding its handiwork with its body and being completely attentive.
...And not a little bit hopeful that anyone who gets close might have something it can do.]
((OOC: Have a humanoid helper robot! The scientists at Region 10 don't really know whether it's Earth-made or from outer space, but it really does seem awfully enthusiastic about helping.
Unfortunately it's also pretty enthusiastic about taking apart anything it can get its hands on, presumably for parts. Nobody's let it build anything new yet, which means they haven't realized it's a human-sized von Neumann replicator with a subroutine instructing it to Help Humanity.))
